Lean Six Sigma Consulting Services and Customised Training
We organise all our training courses as both open and in-house training. For in-house training, we adapt the content to the needs and wishes of the client. Especially when training larger groups from the same company, in-house training is also a more cost-effective option. Please contact us and we will be happy to tell you more about our tailor-made training courses.
In addition to training courses, we offer a range of Lean Six Sigma consulting services for organisations. Based on our extensive experience, our services are suited to a variety of needs from applying Lean Six Sigma to individual improvement projects to introducing Lean Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma throughout an organisation of international companies.
Our approach is to make changes together with management and employees, rather than just with advice and reports. The results achieved are measurable and the organisation learns practically how to maintain and further improve the results. Our aim is to enable the organisation to implement new methods as quickly as possible without external help.
Examples of the consultancy services we offer:
1. Lean Scan
Companies considering applying Lean or Lean Six Sigma in their organisation often wonder how to get started. There is a lot of supply and information available and it is often difficult to translate it into your own organisation. Even organizations that have already started Lean Six Sigma struggle with the challenges of not achieving the results they expect.
Need help identifying your organization's goals and change needs and determining the right approach? With a Lean mapping exercise, we can help your organisation see where you are today and where you can improve. Based on the Lean Scan analysis, we can assess whether you should start with Lean or Lean Six Sigma, for example, or whether you need Design for Six Sigma. Together we will see which approach will give you the best results in the short and long term.
2. Choosing a Lean Six Sigma Project
Choosing the right improvement project is one of the most important success factors, especially in a fledgling Lean Six Sigma organisation. Good Lean 6 Sigma projects should meet the following criteria, among others:
- Customer targets are known and measurable
- The project is in line with business objectives
- The process to be improved is already fully operational
- The volume of the process is sufficient (several transactions per week) to collect data relatively quickly.
- Project boundaries are clear and sufficiently limited
- The solution to the problem is not known in advance
- The problem is expected to be solved in up to 9 months
- The project has sufficient resources and management support
- The organisation to be improved is sufficiently stable
We can help you select projects if necessary. Depending on the needs and wishes of the client, we can, for example, combine project selection with management training.
3. Lean Six Sigma Coaching
The guidance and coaching of an experienced Lean Six Sigma specialist (Master Black Belt), during and after the training, will help employees and management to apply the lessons learned during the training. The coaching focuses on selecting the right techniques and approaches, and on identifying and addressing potential "blind spots" for participants. For example, a project leader (Black Belt or Green Belt) usually needs guidance during the first two projects for about 4-8 hours per project. Coaching improves project results and speeds up project turnaround by about 30-50%.
