Learn how to create a permanent culture of continuous improvement in Lean
In this two-day training you will learn and experience how improvement can become part of everyday work throughout your organisation. The training is an inspiring and interactive package of Lean change leadership. The training will equip you to lead an organisation, or part of an organisation, towards a lasting Lean transformation.
Internationally experienced trainer, DI Marja Jaatinen-van der Harst, has put together a power pack for the Lean Leader. The trainer will share her own experiences and examples and give you advice on how to succeed in your own organisation. The training is based on proven change management theories and the trainer's international experience of successful Lean culture changes in some of the world's most successful companies, not forgetting some instructive failures.
We will go through the lessons interactively, using examples and participants' experiences. At the end of the training, we will work together to apply what we have learnt to the participants' own change objectives.
After the training, you will have an understanding of the biggest challenges your organisation faces in Lean culture change and will be equipped to lead the change in your organisation based on the plan you developed during the training.
You will learn concrete and practical methods to facilitate the implementation of Lean:
- You will understand which factors are critical to creating a culture of continuous improvement.
- You will learn a concrete model on how to successfully implement a Lean culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organisation.
- You will learn how to measure the state of change in your organisation. Based on this measurement, you'll see what the biggest challenges are in your organisation.
- You will learn how to deal with the challenges your organisation faces.
- You will learn how to make a change plan for your organisation.
- You will learn how to use Lean in your day-to-day management.
At the end of the training, you will have a plan for implementing a Lean culture of continuous improvement in your organisation.
You can read more about Lean Leadership and our approach in our trainer's blog "Lean and Leadership: How to achieve more results".
Who is the training suitable for?
The training is suitable for managers, leaders and change agents who want to improve their (Lean) Leadership and use Lean Thinking faster and easier. The training is also suitable for leaders who are responsible for Lean change in their organisation and need additional support in implementing the change.
Participation in the training requires knowledge of Lean principles (e.g. Lean book or basic training in Lean thinking). You will get more out of the training if you have thought in advance about what you want your team/organisation to achieve in the next 1-5 years.
